* Eyelet Dress Petticoats (SOLD) *
September 28th, 2009 at 1:19 pmPerhaps you are familiar with the company Storybook Heirlooms? Sad to say, they are no longer in business. They were a clothing company with the most beautiful vintage dresses for girls of all ages. I saved my pennies (and it took quite a few of them) to buy dresses for all my daughters. As girls do, they grew up. Now, I have these lovely dresses, all gently worn but in beautiful condition, and no one to wear them. I did put away a few of them (just in case of grandchildren) but I want to offer them to you.
First, we have three short sleeve white eyelet dress petticoats, sizes 10, 12, and 12. My girls wore them underneath a lovely jumper. There is precious eyelet on the sleeves, bodice, and flounce at the hem. The skirt part is plain. The petticoat is 100% cotton. These look like they run on the small size. I am offering them for $5.00 each. Here are pictures of one, front and back.
Second, we have some eyelet half slips, sizes 12, 14, and 16. These tiered cotton slips have an elastic waist and are all white eyelet. I am offering them for $5.00 each. Here is a picture of the half slip.
Third, we have a Battenburg lace petticoat. It is white with long sleeves and battenburg lace at the collar, bottom of the petticoat, and at the end of the sleeves. It is a size 12. I am offering the Battenburg lace petticoat for $10.00.
Shown with the battenburg lace petticoat is a beautiful cotton jumper, size 14. The dress is a nice medium weight cotton. I am offering the dress for $10.00

I’m afraid the Storybook Heirloom clothing items are now all sold. I will still post pictures soon of a few more even though they are spoken for. A number of people were interested in seeing them.
